Day Two - Battle Ready
Ephesians 6:14 “Stand your ground …”
Before we begin to look into the pieces of armour, the Holy Spirit reminds us first that even fully armoured up, we will have to stand our ground. So what does that look like on a faith adventure, in our real lives? It could be deciding to believe the Word even when the circumstances change. It could be choosing praise instead of complaining, or declaring a promise while you wait. The words, ‘stand your ground’ suggest that you already have territory. Maybe in your health or finances, you know that God is always good. So if a battle arrives to threaten that belief, stand your ground!
Father, I thank you for the solid foundation of your Word. Help me to stand my ground, and not to waver when the storm comes. I believe that You are an ever present help in every trouble.
