Day Seven: Revival

Revival happens! 

Throughout history (His Story), God has sovereignly touched down on the earth in both spectacular and sacred ways, many times. A simple definition of revival is:

Revival: a mass reawakening of faith that demonstrates the power of the Spirit and opens up a whole region and its churches to a renewed zeal for God, His presence and for His mission to save the lost. 

The prophet Isaiah expresses a heart for revival when he prays;

“Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains would tremble before you!  As when fire sets twigs ablaze and causes water to boil, come down to make your name known to your enemies and cause the nations to quake before you!  For when you did awesome things that we did not expect, you came down, and the mountains trembled before you. Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him.” (Isaiah 64)

Our world is in desperate need for God to touch down in revival. There are early signs in the Spirit that revival is imminent and we say, Yes!  

Yes to awakening, yes to revival, yes to a move of God.

We cry out like the prophet and also say, ‘Oh that you would open the heavens and release revival in our nation. Amen’
