Day Two: Now!
In a world that often ‘rains on our parades’ we have to constantly guard our mindset of faith. The Bible often exhorts us to ‘have faith’ or to ‘believe’. One way we can grow our faith is to say the scriptures out loud, and when we do, our faith is activated and we can truly feel that all things are possible.
Ephesians 3:20 is an excellent verse to begin to declare to make space for new things.
“Now to him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us—” (CSV)
Like Isaiah, he uses the word, NOW. God is always moving and releasing new things, and He invites us to participate. We are filled with His Spirit and through Him we begin to imagine more blessing, more power flowing through us and more grace. As we renew our minds in this way, we make space for new things to come into our experience and create the environment necessary for the miraculous.
{prayer}
Father, we step into your timing and believe with our whole hearts that You are able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power you have deposited in us— in Jesus’ name, Amen.
